The Duchess of Cambridge, Catherine, broke protocol twice in one day while performing her royal duties. The Daily Mail reports on this type of behavior.
Kate Middleton visited the Parents and Communities Together (PACT) social center in London, where she spoke with the organization’s volunteers and participated in a culinary master class with children and their parents. The UK-based celebrity donned skinny black LK Bennet pants and a matching t-shirt, as well as a gray Smythe jacket and Gianvito Rossi shoes.
Journalists pointed to the image of William’s wife and made note that she violated two points of the dress code. Notably, Middleton wore a black outfit and skinny jeans. It is customary to wear black clothing only in case of mourning.
It isn’t the first time that Kate Middleton has been spotted breaking protocol. In October 2020, the celebrity announced on Twitter an online award ceremony for the winners of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year in Black competition. It has been reported that Queen Elizabeth II doesn’t usually wear black at her royal events- aside from funerals.
