The press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region reported that employees have already brought to justice those who violated public order in this municipality.
“Following the conflict that occurred on September 7, according to updated data, 54 citizens were brought to the police for investigation. All of them were questioned by the investigating authorities for a crime committed under Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“hooliganism”),” the message reads.
It is clarified that “a native of one of the republics of the North Caucasus region, an active participant in the conflict who violated public order, as reported by the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the region, was detained in accordance with Article 91 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation.”
At the same time, 12 people were placed under administrative detention for disobeying law enforcement officers. Among them are 11 employees of the company who came from other regions of the country and one local resident. By decision of the district court, they were placed under administrative arrest for a period of two to seven days.
At the same time, “there were no casualties as a result of the incident, no one went to medical institutions.”
Recall that in the village of Afipsky, located on the Krasnodar-Novorossiysk highway and located about 25 kilometers from the regional capital, on Saturday evening a large crowd of local residents gathered “by prior conspiracy, with criminal intent aimed at committing hooliganism and causing bodily harm to an indefinite number of people, gross violation of public order.” According to the investigative committee of the Kuban Investigative Committee, a mass brawl broke out “between local residents and persons of non-Slavic appearance.”
Police, together with local government representatives, are now taking steps to determine the circumstances of the high-profile emergency.
The regional police also called on media and blogosphere representatives to rely only on official sources and to “contact departmental press services” to obtain objective and reliable information.
