Date: July 18, 2024 Time: 05:17:10

They were brought to administrative responsibility under Part 3 of Article 18.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation – violation of the rules of entry or stay in the Russian Federation.

Law enforcement officers inspected the markets on Sofiyskaya Street, Nepokorennykh Avenue and Petro-Slavyanka. Traffic police officers also checked more than 240 vehicles driven by foreigners. Six drivers assumed administrative responsibility for traffic violations.

The reason for the large-scale raid was the robbery of a citizen of one of the Central Asian states. Two 20-year-old immigrants living in Murino forcibly took him in a car to Pulkovo Heights, beat him, took his phone and personal belongings, and withdrew 55,000 rubles from the victim’s bank card. The attackers were detained and a criminal case was opened under Article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – robbery.

It is reported that in case of criminal manifestations, specific operational controls will be constantly carried out on the places of compact stay or residence of immigrants.
