In an interview with Billboard, American rapper 50 Cent revealed that he is open to writing new music. His last album “Animal Ambition” was released in 2014, after which the hip-hop artist decided to focus on other projects.
50 Cent shared that music is getting him the attention he needs: “I just went on tour in 45 countries and it’s sold out everywhere.”
This motivates the rapper to create new songs “that he could integrate into everything”, although he achieved all his goals, “he sold more than 35 million records, and not singles, but albums.”
According to NME, 50 Cent’s non-musical projects include creating a modern version of Eminem’s semi-autobiographical film 8 Mile, to which the latter gave his “blessing.”
Last year, 50 Cent released the documentary Hip-Hop Homicides on the history of violence in hip-hop. Investigate the deaths of various rappers, including XXXTentacion and Pop Smoke.
Eminem previously released Curtain Call 2, which included a previously unreleased collaboration with 50 Cent, “Is This Love (’09)”. Also appearing on the album are “Love The Way You Lie” and “The Monster” with Rihanna, “Crack a Bottle” with 50 Cent and Dr. Dra.
