“This year, work is planned on four more sections, and they have already started on two – along Sukhonskaya Street and Olonetsky Proyezd,” Petr Biryukov said.

According to him, a topographical survey of the territory is being carried out and soon the experts will begin the vertical planning of the territory. As part of the project, the network of roads and trails will be updated, infrastructure for various groups of visitors will be made: pedestrians, cyclists and runners. “There will be a cycling route along Suhonskaya street, and a jogging route from the Olonetsky Proyezd side,” Pyotr Biryukov clarified. It will be about 20 kilometers.

Modern lanterns with energy-saving lamps will be installed in two sections of the future park, sports and children’s grounds will be resurfaced, existing bridge crossings will be repaired, ecological trails with viewing platforms will be built along the banks, passing into be part of the environmental education route.

On Sukhonskaya street, the space for events will be ordered.

By the way, before the end of the year, it is planned to start work on two more sections of the future Yauza Park – in the floodplain of the Chermyanka River along Selskokhozyaistvennaya Street and on the territory of the Rostokinsky Aqueduct Park.
