They were presented by a chamber composition of a string orchestra under the direction of Maxim Akulov, Chief Conductor of the State Opera and Ballet Theatre named after I.M. Yaushev (Saransk).
Together with the musicians from Ufa, a special guest of the show, one of the brightest young performers in the country, the best graduate of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory in 2018, soloist of the St. Petersburg House of Music, guest soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre, the winner and laureate of an incredible number of international competitions, Anna, performed Savkina. Her solo performance left no one indifferent. The violin accompanied by the piano sounded so mesmerizing that it seemed as if nothing better had ever been seen. Even the men, unusually numerous for a symphony concert, listened to her with bated breath: it was clear that they were accompanying the ladies. By the way, in each city where the magical Luminary summer concerts are held, a team of artists is formed on a specific basis. The musicians undergo a strict selection process.
At the same time, the organizers consider that the main feature of their shows is not even the music itself, but the atmosphere in which it plays. This, in turn, was created by those same thousands of candles with their soft light. These are paraffin candles, but not with an open fire, but with LEDs. Entering the hall, the guests found themselves in the twilight, illuminated only by candles placed on the floor and on the tables. They entered the hall through the light paths and were left breathless at the sight of the stage flickering with warm lights.
During the concert, a starry sky shone behind the stage with falling meteorites, something that only happens on clear summer nights, and at the end the words “Love”, “We love you” appeared. During the breaks between numbers, there was a voice-over, dedicated, of course, to the theme of summer.
In one of their interviews, the producers of the show explained why they rely on the atmosphere: after the pandemic and amidst turbulent events, people missed beautiful and touching events with sincere and pure emotions. Indeed, listening to music in such a cozy atmosphere, which is not easy to create in large halls, produces a pleasant feeling of mental relaxation. There are other results: they say that even at Luminary concerts marriage proposals are made.
During the concert, the audience was asked to turn off their phones so as not to be distracted by anything else. But closer to the end, realizing that everyone who came wanted to leave photos and videos as a souvenir, they allowed filming. And, of course, after the concert, social media was filled with posts in which people shared their impressions, accompanied by photos and videos.

In a single night, the musicians gave two concerts attended by a total of 1,400 spectators.
