Luca Salvadori, an Italian motorcycle racer and popular blogger who had more than half a million subscribers on YouTube alone, has died after suffering multiple injuries.
According to the Gazzetta, the incident occurred yesterday during the first lap of the race in Saxony, where a stage of the international road racing championship was being held.
The athlete died while being taken to hospital. The race organisers confirmed the sad news.
Luca Maurizio Salvadori was born in 1992 in Milan to the family of the founder and team principal of Trident Racing. He made his debut as a driver in 2009 in the Italian Championship.
