According to the press service of the prosecutor’s office of the Khabarovsk Territory, in May 2019, a man produced fictitious documents on the legality of collecting Mongolian ruin and Manchurian ash in a total volume of 1.5 thousand cubic meters.
On the basis of forged documents, a Khabarovsk citizen received permission to export timber abroad. To implement the plans, the defendants involved accomplices who sent declarations with false information to the customs authorities. In addition, timber was illegally exported by road and rail to China for a total amount of 27.7 million rubles.
In total, according to law enforcement officials, nine people were involved in the criminal scheme. The role of each of them is established by the investigation.
