Disabled sportsman from Komsomolsk-on-Amur Vitaly Kochnev took part in the “Strength of Spirit” charity swimming. This was announced on his telegram channel by the Governor of the Khabarovsk Territory Mikhail Degtyarev.

– I wanted to show that I am with Russia, that I support our army, carrying out combat missions on the territory of Ukraine. The central start of the action took place in Moscow, all proceeds went to support the soldiers and civilians of the LPR and DPR, as well as the Pereslavl orphanage. By my example, I wanted to show people who find themselves in a difficult life situation that they should never give up, to show how strong a Russian person can be, – said Vitaly Kochnev.
Vitaly Kochnev has already participated in marathons through the Amur Bay, the Amur River, won prizes at prestigious Russian and international competitions. Komsomolchanin is the only disabled swimmer in the world who competes with healthy athletes in open water.
