Date: October 16, 2024 Time: 13:23:35

According to the department, firefighters managed to do so today at 07:29.

As we have already told you, on Saturday evening an industrial building caught fire on the territory of a roofing material plant (it is located at the exit of the regional capital, next to the Krasnodar-Temryuk highway). According to preliminary information from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, published on the department’s Telegram channel, at about six o’clock in the evening the area of the fire was 5 thousand square meters.

A fire brigade was called to the scene to extinguish the blaze. Witnesses began posting videos on social media, with images showing huge plumes of black smoke rising into the sky.

However, the Ministry of Emergency Situations soon clarified that the area of the fire was much smaller: about 1,500 square meters.

At the same time, the forces and technical means at the site of the fire were gradually increased, taking into account its complexity and climatic conditions (the air temperature even at night in Krasnodar was 28 degrees Celsius).

As a result, at 21:17, rescuers managed to extinguish the open-air fire at the premises. It turned out that the fire occurred in a building where modular frame structures were manufactured. At that time, 90 specialists and 37 pieces of equipment were involved in the work at the scene of the emergency. And in the morning, they completely extinguished the powerful fire.

According to rescuers, there were no deaths or injuries.
