This unusual military field temple was opened at the training center of the Novosibirsk National Guard Troops Military Institute.
The first religious service was presided over by the priest of the diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church of Novosibirsk, Andrei Romashko.
The store itself is shaped like a temple. A cross stands tall on a sturdy canvas on a steel frame. The altar part is fenced inside, there are the Royal Gates and there is also a stove for heating. The military field temple is dedicated to Saints Alexander Peresvet and Andrei Oslyaba, heroes of the Battle of Kulikovo, warrior monks who gave their lives for faith and the Fatherland.
Head of the Novosibirsk Military Institute named after Army General IK Yakovlev troops of the Russian National Guard Valeri Kosukhin noted that the military field temple will be located on the territory of the training center from the beginning of May to the end September, at the time when personnel learn the basics of military science.
The major general expressed confidence that such a temple would help strengthen the faith and fortitude of the cadets in rather difficult campaign conditions.
If believers like the idea, in the future it is planned to mass produce these tent temples to send them to the Northern Military District area.
