The project began in November last year with the selection of real heroes who will be talked about on stage. 340 applications were received from all over the country, of which only 12 had to be selected to cover the topic in the genre of one-person documentary performances.
“What unites the clown from the Krasnoyarsk hospital, the teacher from the village of Lokh, the miner from the city of Satka, the driver of a garbage truck from Novosibirsk and the potter from the village of Gorbunki? The heroes of the project are ordinary Russians, whose daily work changes our lives for the better,” explained the organizers who selected the heroes of our time. And Bogomolov himself noted: the basis of the project, supported by the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives, are the stories of people whose lives are full of love, joy, dreams, meaning and purpose.
Sergei Aygorov spent most of his life mining magnesite. He and his wife have three children, grandchildren and he has something to tell about simple and intimate things.
The event, which began in March at the country’s main exhibition, where admission is free and where spectators are as welcome as in specialized halls, will end with the publication of a book and the preparation of a documentary with the stories of All the heroes, their photo sessions and video recordings of interviews.
