Employees of the Federal Security Service (FSB), in cooperation with the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, stopped the illegal activities of a Moscow resident. She is suspected of high treason, as well as collecting and transferring funds to the enemy.
“The detainee is suspected of providing financial assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in activities directed against the security of the Russian Federation, an offense under Article 275 of the Russian Criminal Code,” the Russian FSB explained.

“The Lefortovsky District Court of Moscow in relation to the detainee chose a restraining measure in the form of detention for a period of two months. The sanction of article 275 of the Criminal Code of Russia provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a period of from twelve to twenty years of imprisonment with a fine of up to five hundred thousand rubles or the income of the convicted person for a period of up to three years. , recalled the FSB of Russia.
The criminal case is being prosecuted by investigators from the Investigative Department of the Russian FSB. Urgent investigative procedures are now being carried out, as well as search operations aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the criminal case, including the arrest of the accomplices.
