“Together with the state corporation RosHydro, we will develop a new service format – electric charging centers. Now electric charging and transport complexes are being developed in cities, we also have electric charging stations on our roads, but they have not yet been seen in the format of a large center and with additional services,” Anastasia Kozlova, general director of Avtodor Development, shares with Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
“RosHydro” has a wide developed network of electric charging stations in the Far East and has become a partner of “Author” in one of the mirror locations of the MFZ on the M11 “Neva” highway, he adds. The energy company won the tender for kilometer 378 of the route, where the construction of the first two facilities is planned. The electric refueling complexes will consist of two to six ultra-fast electric refueling modules for passenger cars, located on the territory of the MFZ near the Unified Services Building (USB), where various services for visitors will be concentrated. Among them are catering establishments, items for travel, recreation and travel, a room for mothers and children and spacious bathrooms. The ESZ is surrounded by a pedestrian zone with playgrounds and sports fields, a summer terrace, picnic pavilions and a dog walking area.
“On the territory of the MFZ there are now filling stations for liquids and gas; thanks to the concluded cooperation, electric filling stations will soon appear. The ability to refuel cars of almost any type and engine will make it possible to drive a lot on our roads with more confidence ”notes Anastasia Kozlova.
Now you can try yourself as a visitor to the MFZ or as a driver of various types of cars and trucks, as well as a passenger bus; You can do it in a virtual simulator presented by the Avtodor company at the Russian exhibition. It also allows you to visit the MFZ via a virtual walking tour. This helps to evaluate all parameters of a multifunctional zone, including comfort and safety for both the driver and passengers, as well as to popularize this type of service among drivers.
Regarding the news of the MFZ, at kilometer 176 of the M11, showers were opened for drivers. There is also a laundry and self-service facility there. Within the framework of this unified area, the commercial function has been expanded and there is a large food court.
