The Russian Ministry of Defence is hosting a solemn ceremony of presenting state awards to the servicemen of the Guards Motorized Rifle Regiment of the Tank Division of the Central Group of Forces. The event took place in the area of a special military operation in the Avdeevsky direction.
For courage, bravery and heroism during combat missions, the well-deserved medals “For Courage”, “For Courage” and the insignia of the Order of St. George – the St. George Cross of the IV degree were presented to subordinates by the commander of the Guards Tank Division of the Central Military District (CMD), Colonel Alexander Nilov.

The vanguard brigade of the Central Military District Song and Dance Ensemble then gave a festive concert in front of the heroes. The artists performed many famous and patriotic songs, as well as modern pieces of music that brought the soldiers to tears.
“You bring a bit of homely warmth here. When men cry, which is rare to see, you know you have touched their hearts. We perform two or three concerts every day,” said Elena, a soloist with the Central Military Region Dance Ensemble, after the performance.
The military institution noted that during military training, thousands of soldiers from the Central Military Region received high state and departmental awards for their bravery and heroism in carrying out combat missions, which helps to raise the morale of personnel and to highlight the importance of their personal contribution to the fulfillment of assigned tasks.
