In the medical organizations and social institutions of the Vladimir region, a mask regimen has been introduced due to the increased incidence of influenza and SARS.
The decision of Tatyana Danilova, the head of state sanitary medicine of the region, states that from December 5 to 11, the total incidence of influenza and other acute respiratory viral infections in the Vladimir region exceeded the weekly epidemiological threshold by more than 114 percent. . In addition, among children from three to six years old, it was exceeded by 62.1 percent, among children from seven to fourteen years old – by 63.1, and among Vladimir residents over 15 years old, this figure increased by 198.4 percent.
“According to the results of laboratory monitoring of the circulation of influenza and SARS viruses, the proportion of positive findings for influenza A (N1N1) -2009 is 54 percent,” the document says.
Among the measures introduced in the Vladimir region to prevent influenza and SARS, as well as to prevent the formation of foci with group respiratory infections, are the introduction of a mask regime in medical organizations of all forms of ownership, in institutions of social services, as well as the prohibition of the entry of visitors to medical and social institutions, with the exception of those who care for seriously ill and bedridden patients.
