Row Iliescu, a resident of Canada’s Toronto, has made a decision that seems strange to many: six months ago, a woman, who was walking with her dog in one of the city’s parks, has taken a portable vacuum cleaner with her.
As the woman’s four-legged friend runs through the park about her business, the woman methodically removes cigarette butts after careless visitors. She does this completely voluntarily, without expecting any payment or recognition.
Surprisingly, after learning of this, several Canadians, instead of supporting Iliescu’s initiative or at least approving it, criticized the woman’s actions.
“This is an absolutely useless company,” wrote one user.
– Then nothing will come of it, to maintain order, it is necessary to introduce huge fines for abandoned garbage, – another supported him.
However, among the flurry of criticism, there was also a message, the author of which said that he himself often grabs someone else’s garbage from a walk in the park, as he is simply disgusted to see how the resting place of people from the town turns into a pigsty
