Seismologists managed to identify the epicenter of the earthquake – the source is located 177 kilometers east of the Afghan city of Kunduz at a depth of 191 kilometers. The population of Kunduz is more than 160 thousand people, but there is no information about the victims. Tremors were also felt in some regions of Uzbekistan.
