Investigators opened a criminal case on the emergency related to the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements, they reported to the Western Interregional Transport Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
The case was opened after media reported that on Thursday a tourist from the capital of the Krasnoyarsk Territory fell into a coma aboard a Russian airline plane flying from Thailand. The flight was delayed a day, but, according to witnesses, during the wait no oxygen reached the cabin and the passengers felt ill.
The Investigative Commission organized the necessary investigative actions to establish the causes and circumstances of the incident.
