Guests of honour marched to VA Bodrov Square, where the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the start of construction of BAM took place.
“BAM was built by the whole Soviet Union, more than two million people, people with a warm heart and strong character. The heroes of labor accomplished the impossible, crossed mountains, rivers, impassable taiga and built a road,” Tsydenov wrote.
According to him, the builders of BAM strengthened the power of the country. Thanks to the labor feat of the first builders, BAM, BAM-2 were built and the construction of BAM-3 began.
Earlier, RG wrote that the 50th anniversary of BAM was solemnly celebrated in Yakutia and will be celebrated in the Amur region.
