The opening ceremony was attended by many celebrities, including Italian actress Ornella Muti, who came specially to St. Petersburg and managed to take a ride on a pleasure boat on the city’s waters on the Neva before the opening of the exhibition.
The world-famous actress, in her speech at the opening ceremony, apologized for not being able to speak Russian yet, as she was just beginning to learn the language. But in Russian she wished everyone present: “Good morning!” Ornella Muti stressed that Safronov is her good friend and a wonderful person, and she is proud to be in St. Petersburg now, at such a wonderful exhibition. The actress admitted that she was inspired by the presented exhibition and expressed the hope that everyone else will like the exhibition as well.
Nikas Safronov once again publicly confessed his love for the Great City, to which he dedicated a significant part of his work. As for the exhibition, he explained that it was made at his own expense and with great respect for St. Petersburg. He said that on each of his visits he makes sketches, sketches, sketches, which he then turns into a full-fledged work.
The artist drew the attention of the audience to works that used a special, modern and expensive technique, creating the effect of illuminating the painting as if it were inside the work itself. The works also contain quar codes, with the help of which one can see how a particular work of art comes to life.
A separate section is dedicated to great cultural and artistic figures.
– I hope that a portrait of Mikhail Boyarsky will be created soon. It is always fun with him, – Safronov summed up. Mikhail Boyarsky himself not only spoke enthusiastic words about the exhibition, but also sang the Musketeers’ song “It’s time, it’s time to rejoice in our life” to the applause of the audience.
After the official part, the audience was able to examine the works on display. Creations from different years and different styles. There are landscapes, portraits, surrealist compositions. A symbiosis of classical art and modern technology. But in each one one can feel the artist’s true love for St. Petersburg. The city in which he could live.
