According to the press service of the Sverdlovsk regional prosecutor’s office, she asked the convict to put her on the railing of a common balcony on the 25th floor of a high-rise building on Semikhatov Street. He complied with her request, but did not calculate the strength and the fact that the coordination of movements of both was violated by alcohol. The girl fell from a great height and died.
The Verkh-Isetsky District Court found the young man guilty under Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (causing death by negligence).
He fully admitted his guilt.
As punishment, he was assigned correctional work for a year and a half, and 10 percent of his salary will be withheld in favor of the State.
In addition, the court satisfied the civil claim of the injured party for the recovery of more than 520 thousand rubles from the convicted person, the prosecutor’s office added.
