The American rapper A$AP Rocky presented a new version of the video for the song “Angels”. Its release is timed to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the release of rapper Long.Live.A$AP’s debut album, on which the song first appeared. You can watch it on the musician’s official YouTube channel.
The video includes archival footage of young A$AP Rocky and his band. The video pays tribute to the late A$AP Yams, who has a halo over his head in the clip. On Twitter, the rapper tweeted that on the 10th anniversary of his first commercial album, he wants to think about the people he misses and the time they had.
A$AP Rocky hasn’t released a studio album since 2018. The last time he made headlines was over the assault shooting allegations. The rapper allegedly took his former associate, A$AP Mob manager and producer, A$AP Relli, to a remote location in the Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles. And then he shot him several times, hitting him in the arm. Rocky himself denies the accusations, there is still no verdict in this case.
Let’s remember that in December, the rapper filmed the song “Shittin’ Me”. The composition became the official soundtrack of the new game Need for Speed Unbound.
