ACS extends a new mining contract in Indonesia for 132 million euros

The ACS company continues its expansion within the most powerful markets through its subsidiary CIMIC, which has obtained a contract with the Kaltim Prima Coal mining group to amplify all the services they offer in their Indonesian properties for more than 132 million euros (210 million at the exchange rate in Australian dollars).

The contract will be carried out through the Thiess company, in which CIMIC actively participates, and will be held at the Sangatta mine in the East Kalimantan province of the island of Borneo. This expansion of services is scheduled for 2023 and will make it possible to prepare: the land, transportation, asset management, equipment rental, and maintenance.

An important part of the business

Thiess Chairman Michael Wright has said that KPC’s Sangatta mine has been a vital part of the business for the last thirty years.
