In the largest Australian cities – Sydney, Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne – there were actions in support of Russia.
Several thousand people gathered not only to support Russia, but also to express their disagreement with the decisions of the Australian government to provide military assistance to the Kiev regime and always and in everything to take the position of NATO and the West.
In Sydney, people flocked to the Consulate General of the Russian Federation. In Melbourne, a mass demonstration took place in front of the Victorian Parliament building.
The main motto written on the banners, which the participants held in their hands along with the Russian tricolors, is “Russia is not an enemy.” Other slogans are “No to war with Russia!”, “Stop the genocide against the Russian people!”.
Australians oppose the Green Continent government’s support for NATO and the United States. They believe that Western ambitions find no support among ordinary Australians and, furthermore, should not be paid out of pocket.
