Netflix has released the first trailer for the animated comedy Leo. The premiere of the film will take place on November 21. The plot tells of a 74-year-old lizard named Leo.
The animal has lived for several decades in a terrarium in a classroom with a turtle. One day, Leo finds out that he only has one year to live. He then plans a getaway to experience what life is like outside.
Leo was played by Adam Sandler, who previously voiced Dracula in the Monsters on Vacation franchise. Together with him in the cartoon his daughters Sadie and Sunny acted, as well as his wife Jackie. The cast also included Bill Burr, Cecily Strong, Jason Alexander, Rob Schneider, Heidi Gardner, and others.
Directed by the creative duo of Robert Marianetti and David Watchtenheim, behind the New York-based animation company W/M Animation. She has produced and worked on films for clients including Cartoon Network, HBO, Disney/ABC, Universal, ESPN, Fox TV, Comedy Central, NBC, and Coca-Cola.
