CCOO and UGT have reached an agreement with the Spanish Association of Consulting Companies (AEC) for the renewal of the State Agreement for Consulting and Market Studies, also applicable to the technology sector, with salary increases of 10.75% for the year 2022 with retroactive effect from July 1.
The parties thus reach an initial understanding to renew this agreement, which affects 300,000 workers, after months of union mobilizations that denounced the lack of revaluation of wages and that several categories of the agreement have fallen below the wages.
According to a CCOO statement, half of the salary increase agreed for last year will serve to place the salary tables above that threshold, which will translate into a 33% increase in the sector’s minimum wages in 2023.
The agreement also includes initial increases of 2.5% for this year and 2% for 2024, with a higher level for the lowest levels contemplated in the document, as well as a 32% increase in mileage up to 0.25 euros. per kilometer.
On the other hand, the parties have also agreed to regulate teleworking in the final text and set a minimum compensation for it, which can then be increased by the companies based on the agreements with their templates. Likewise, the text will address consultancy aspects in a specific area, which will improve the professional classification of employees, as explained by the union.
