Let’s remember that as a result of the bad weather on Sunday, 27 flights were cancelled. The airline has advised passengers on canceled flights not to go to the airport if possible.
“Due to a temporary improvement in weather conditions, Aeroflot will operate part of the flights from Sochi to pick up passengers,” the airline said in a statement posted on its Telegram channel.
In total, only two planes were able to take off from Sochi airport last night instead of 57. It was previously reported that there were 16 planes at alternate airfields.
