The dismissal of 65-year-old Dmitry Nazarov (star of the TV series “Kitchen”) and his wife, actress Olga Vasilyeva from the Moscow Art Theater. Chekhov made a lot of noise not only on the Web. Coincidentally, several Moscow theaters underwent disciplinary checks.
The main “Santa Claus” of the country, who in previous years regularly participated in the Kremlin Christmas trees, was fired for his Russophobic position, for criticizing the NVO in fables and songs of his own composition – Nazarov posted them on the networks social. “For many years, Nazarov and his mediocre wife hide power and at the same time serve in the state theater!” – people wrote in the comments.
The artistic director of the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater, Konstantin Khabensky, was patient. He politely asked Nazarov and his wife to stop singing their (vulgar) songs. He tried to reason with the performers that outrageous statements could harm the theater.
But Nazarov-Vasiliev was not heard. Before the new year, they gave a scandalous interview. There Nazarov again “opened up as a civilian lyricist.” He said that he was very doubtful whether he should return to Russia from France (where, according to rumors, he has an apartment on the Cote d’Azur). He supported actor Anatoly Bely, who left for Israel, saying that “everyone reacted with understanding” to the departure of Bely (who was openly opposed to the CVO). And in general, there were fewer people in the theater. Without giving names, he said: “Not only Tolya left. Many have left.” This confession, as they say, was the straw that broke the camel’s back.
It would be nice if he only sang his ditties, he also “delivered” his colleagues with giblets.
Khabensky wanted to part with Nazarov in a good way. As we were told in the theater, Nazarov and his wife were summoned before the director to write a statement on his behalf. And they took and did not come. Then they were fired. The next performances with his participation have been canceled.
At the same time, they were tried “by sheer coincidence” in various Moscow theaters, including the Moscow Art Theater named after Chekhov. A commission of the Ministry of Culture controlled the personnel and labor discipline. The theater believes that the trigger was the words to Nazarov about “many remain.” The commission studied worksheets, timesheets, who was at the place of work, and which of the artists took a sabbatical, and why this vacation has dragged on for several months, and second casts appeared at performances .. .
By the way, Dmitry Nazarov has already been replaced. For several days without Woland, the play “The Master and Margarita” was on the bill, but then Woland was found in the person of the actor of the Theater of Satire Anatoly Kot. True, there is still no one of the central characters of Ostrovsky’s comedy “The Forest” – Neschastlivtsev, who was played by Nazarova. In “Duel” I had to change first to Laevsky (he was played by Bely), and now Dr. Samoylenko – Nazarov. On the website of the Moscow Art Theater, neither the doctor nor Marya Konstantinovna (played by Olga Vasilyeva) are listed among the characters. But they will definitely appear on February 17, when the audience will see a performance with a new lineup of artists. After all, no one is irreplaceable, right?
