Airtificial registers a new regime of double voting shares for loyalty

Date: June 9, 2023 Time: 15:04:33

The Airtificial company has registered this Tuesday with the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) during a new agreement on a system of shares with double voting for loyalty for holders who keep their titles in the company for at least two years. The option to include a program with these characteristics was introduced in the company’s bylaws during the month of June 2021, although it had not been implemented until now.

Leonardo Sánchez-Heredero, owner of the Parcesa funeral home, and Ladislao de Arriba Azcona, historic communicator and main partner of the Estudio de Comunicación agency, started 2023 repeating what they did in 2022: investing a good part of their assets in the robotics company and Airtificial engineering. Unlike what happened twelve months ago, the market this time has given a 120% boost on the stock market to the company’s shareholding turnaround.

The two businessmen exited one of the historical shareholders, Black Toro Capital (BTC), which had a 13% stake in Airtificial’s capital. The tandem formed by Sánchez and Azcona, Leo and Lalo, already accounted for more than 30% of the capital and thus raised their joint percentage above 45%, according to data communicated to the CNMV on January 5.

Specifically, Sánchez-Heredero bought an additional 2.9% of Airtificial, increasing its stake to 21.8%, while Azcona acquired the remaining 10.1% of Black Toro, boosting its percentage in the company to 23.6%. . The actual amount that they have disbursed in the operation is a mystery despite the fact that they have passed the CNMV filter for this type of transaction.

Encouraged by this operation, the firm’s shares have practically doubled so far this year, reaching the current 0.098 euros, although they reached 0.11 euros. In addition, the company has reorganized its governing bodies with the appointment of Guillermo Fernández de Peñaranda as the firm’s new CEO.
