It is flexible, it can be localized in different formats, creating specifically for it, as is done in Russia, an IT and telecommunications infrastructure to make it as secure as possible. Russia created a state information system in 2015. The past year has shown that we have chosen the right path. All the software on which the operation of the system depends is self-developed. All products that are being developed today on this basis – ERA Monitoring, ERA Dispatching, the Consul system – are also completely Russian. Emergency calls from motorists in 85 Russian regions are automatically transmitted through the state information system ERA-GLONASS to the 112 rescue services, this solution improves the safety of millions of road users and reduces accidents on the roads . FROM SMALL AVIATION TO ELECTRIC SCOOTERS

“This is a source of big data that can be analyzed,” says the expert. – For example, we transmit information about traffic accidents to toll road operators. They have emergency commissioners who, thanks to our information, quickly resolve certain accidents. And this, in turn, not only improves the quality of your service in a broad sense, but also saves people’s lives. Because on the roads 10% of all accidents are so-called secondary accidents. In addition, the state information system has become a digital platform with many services: transportation tracking, small planes, and even electric scooters.
“We are negotiating the replication of the technology with several friendly countries. As soon as we have accumulated positive experience, this will significantly simplify the entry into the African market, – notes Aleksey Raikevich. – Because our solutions, among other things, provide the so-called GPS independence, they provide navigation sovereignty. Many countries in Africa and Latin America are concerned about the high reliance on GPS signals. Therefore, I am sure that our prospects are very good.”
TAKE THE CONTROL
In addition, this year the company announced the launch of a series of technological know-how, the first in Russia and in the world: from a security system for universities based on inland navigation technology to a cybersecurity platform for vehicles.
“Together with FSUE NAMI, NPP GAMMA and Kaspersky Lab, a cybersecurity module is being created, after which we will be able to reduce the risks of cyber attacks from hackers that can occur on almost any modern vehicle. To a greater extent, this applies to so-called connected vehicles. Today, that vehicle isn’t even a computer, but a data center on wheels. It’s no secret that control can often be taken over remotely and create many different problems for people who are in this vehicle or somewhere nearby, the expert concluded. – We propose at the legislative level to provide for the possibility that the telematics unit has a GLONASS JSC communication network profile.
