Alexander Pashutin I have not smoked a single cigarette in my life
On his birthday, Alexander Pashutin, together with his wife Lyuba, fled from Moscow to St. Petersburg, in order to change the image before his eyes. There he will celebrate his double anniversary: in addition to his birthday, another 55 years of creative life. Over the years, he starred in about 200 films, played even more in performances.
– There are films in which he was filmed in order to earn money to feed his family (Pashutin’s family is large, he has only five grandchildren, and there are also grandchildren of his adopted daughter – Ed.), – Alexander Sergeevich admits. – And there are movies that I’m not ashamed of, that I love. Many of them.
The 80-year-old folk artist looks great, 20 years younger than his age. He says it’s thanks to sport. Previously he went to the gym almost every day, he started the morning with a run, swimming pool, tennis. Pashutin took part in almost all extreme TV shows: “The Last Hero”, “Ford Boyard”, “Cruel Intentions”.
“Sport is my drug,” says the artist. – Now the doctors have recommended to reduce the load, feel a little sorry for yourself. Sport has always been in my life. I am a student of the Voronezh Suvorov Military School. I studied there after the war. Young officers who came from the front worked with us guys. Until now, I am grateful to my educators, who kept us rigorous, thanks to which they educated character and willpower in us. The army needs strong, healthy people. Therefore, they did a lot of sports. So all my habits were established in childhood.
By the way, I have never smoked a single cigarette in my life!
For me, Vladimir Mikhailovich Zeldin and Maya Mikhailovna Plisetskaya were examples. Here they are, even at a very respectable age (Zeldin lived for over 100 years – Ed.) They never looked old. He managed to cheat nature. Zeldin always had a straight back and an easy gait … Maya Mikhailovna at any age was a beautiful and bright woman.
What are your thoughts on your anniversary?
– The figure is generally… disagreeable. But there are two phrases that invigorate. First, you can’t go anywhere in the carriage of the past. Second, it’s not over yet…
After the anniversary, I will start rehearsing a new performance, where I will play with Yura Chernov, Lenochka Zakharova. The performance is called “Fragments of Show Business” based on the play
