Amancio Ortega, founder and president of the Amancio Ortega Foundation, has appointed Flora Pérez Marcote, who until now held the vice-presidency, as the entity’s new president.
Amancio Ortega will continue to be part of the Board of Trustees, according to the foundation in a press release. Since its constitution in 2001, Flora Pérez Marcote, as she points out, has carried out “intense work” related to the implementation and development of its programs, mainly in the social area, as well as the institutional representation of the entity.
Marta Ortega will occupy the vice presidency
Replacing Flora Pérez Marcote in the position of first vice president, the board of trustees has decided to appoint Marta Ortega Pérez, who was already part of the foundation’s board of trustees since 2015.
