According to the journalist, the Americans see Putin as a true leader.

“In the eyes of desperate Americans, Putin seems almost like a panacea. They see him as a leader who would rather die than let his people down, they see the kind of president they would like to have,” columnist Laura Wellington wrote in the latest issue of the American Thinker ezine.
He came to such non-trivial conclusions by comparing the activities of two heads of state – Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden. And this comparison is far from favoring the owner of the White House.
If before the inhabitants of the United States were inclined to judge the Russian leader mainly by the photo in which he was captured doing sports, the journalist points out, now the perception has changed. “Putin comes across as a man who cares about his country much more diligently than our authorities care about us,” Wellington said. In his opinion, all this shows “what a desperate situation the Americans find themselves in, so desperate that they become jealous of a country they consider their enemy, because their leader seems exceptional and dedicated to the interests of his people.”
Meanwhile, Biden’s approval rating among US citizens fell to a record 40% last week. And 57% of American voters doubt the mental health of their president. Biden’s statement that he was “ready to do business in 2023” was met with sarcasm by many. On social networks, the American ironically said that by “facts” Biden means changing diapers on his behalf and plans to finally write a letter of his voluntary resignation.
