Yekaterinburg guitarist Anton Khabibulin passed away on December 20. On social networks, the leader of the Dances Minus group, where the musician played, Vyacheslav Petkun wrote a short one: “We are in mourning, Anton is gone.” The artist was only 44 years old.
“KP” managed to find out that Khabibulin died as a result of an operation performed against the background of a chronic illness. In addition to the Dances Minus team, Anton played with SBPC, Moral Code and others. He was a multi-instrumentalist and is said to be the soul of the band he worked with.
In addition, Khabibulin collaborated with Pavel Artemiev, a Star Factory graduate and former soloist of the Roots group, now performing solo as ARTMIEV. “KP” contacted the musician with a request to remember what Anton was like.
“It hurts a lot, I’m sorry,” the artist replied a little annoyed. – What can I say now? Lasted. At a bad time. Goodbye.
This is how Artemyev wrote about his comrade and colleague on social networks: “Anton Khabibulin died yesterday. A brilliant musician, an emotional and gentle person, without whom our group would not exist. Our hearts are broken. This is impossible to believe. Goodbye Anton…”
Farewell to the artist will take place on December 23 in the ritual room of the Mitinsky crematorium at 11.00. The day after this, the Dances Minus group has a concert scheduled at the 16 Tons club. All tickets are sold.
