An educational group will appear in North Ossetia – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

The cluster will begin training specialists for tourism and the service sector. Vladikavkaz Polytechnic School received a federal grant for a project worth 70 million rubles. These funds will be used to modernize the material and technical base, educational and production infrastructure.

The group will include six more educational institutions in the republic. It is planned that 2,000 students will study in the group for three years.

In addition, the Ministry of Education of the region signed an agreement with the Gorsk State Agrarian University, thanks to which 11 schools in North Ossetia will have agricultural classes in September. According to the rector of the university, Oleg Gogaev, this cooperation will allow children to show how interesting agriculture is.

– It is necessary to start working with children in seventh and eighth grades. The fact that we have classes with in-depth study of certain subjects and that children practice will have a positive impact on the quality of education, says Ella Alibekova, Minister of Education and Science of the region.

The republic has also approved projects for 11 basic schools of the Mining and Metallurgical Institute and four medical schools on the basis of the State Medical Academy. In the near future, basic schools of the North Ossetian State University will also be opened in the areas of chemical-biological, physical-technological, psychological-pedagogical and mathematical studies.

Meanwhile

Almost a thousand schoolchildren from all regions of North Ossetia will begin to learn the basics of working with quadcopters from September. The republic became the owner of a grant worth 298 million rubles. Funds from the federal budget have been allocated to open additional sections on unmanned aircraft systems. 18 schools are participating in the project. The North Caucasus Higher Agricultural and Technological School has become the practical training center. The necessary equipment has already been purchased and at the beginning of the school year the children will begin classes.

Schoolchildren will be taught the basics of developing, producing and operating unmanned aerial systems. In the future, the knowledge gained will be useful for children who decide to link their lives with areas such as construction, agriculture, surveying, cartography and video production.
