An electronic football textbook for schools is being prepared and an all-Russian tournament is being held – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

Date: September 28, 2023 Time: 11:03:00

Six tournaments will be held between boys and girls in three age groups: 10-11, 12-13 and 14-15 years old. They start on September 20. This was reported to Rossiyskaya Gazeta by the head of the grassroots football development department of the Russian Football Union, Olga Mashchikova, and the director of the RFU School Football project, Tatyana Bukurova.

“The boys,” noted Tatyana Bukurova, “will stay at the Cosmos hotel, which, as you know, has a very convenient location: after football matches, the children will be able to walk around VDNKh. We really hope that the Indian summer in Moscow will last until the end of our tournament. It will last until September 24.

The participants are the winners of regional school leagues and high school teams participating in the All-Russian leather ball competitions, who were not included among the participants of the All-Russian stages due to competition with sports schools .

As for awards, according to Tatyana Bukurova, participation in the school league, first of all, should bring joy: “Children will play, communicate with footballers, visit Luzhniki (by the way, some of them will do it for the first time) . “It is very important for us that they “be in touch” with the main stadium, the center of the country’s sports life. Well, each participant in the tournament will receive medals and souvenirs from the RFU. In addition, all the guys will have autographs and photo shoots with big soccer stars”.

In general, the School Football League is one of the five elements of the Russian RFU project “Football at School”. In addition, the project provides for the holding of school physical education classes, football sections, the “Football at School” festival and methodological support for teachers. The project has been running for three years. It is implemented by the RFU with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. This academic year, 4,150 educational institutions from 83 regions of Russia will participate in the project.

“When carrying out preliminary work in a specific region, we ask them to choose exactly those schools in which they love football and want to develop it,” explained Tatyana Bukurova. – All schools, all municipalities are different. But we practically never have to deal with indifference.

“Yes, we do not feel indifference,” confirmed Olga Mashchikova. – And proof of this is the number of children who participate in our football activities: sections, football classes. We have achieved serious indicators: now 575 thousand schoolchildren participate in the project and regularly participate in football lessons. We hope that by the end of the next academic year more than a million schoolchildren will regularly participate in football activities, which, you see, is very valuable.

“I will add that they always played football in schools,” Tatyana Bukurova continues the conversation. – However, we have a full-fledged multi-component project, and one of the priority areas is the training of teachers and the transfer of methodological material. Our methodological group, working within the framework of the project, develops new exercises and approaches for teaching classes and transmits them to teachers. By the way, we are currently creating an electronic textbook. As a result, the teacher has everything necessary to make the lesson interesting: not only playing football for 45 minutes, but also conducting special games and educational exercises.
