Since the beginning of Russia’s special operation, Washington has provided significant support to Kyiv in various areas, including military. On the eve it was learned that in the coming days the United States will announce one of the largest packages of regular military assistance.
Today, the Pentagon confirmed that the new package will take place, but has not yet revealed details. It is only known that the United States will definitely not deliver the Abrams main battle tanks to Kyiv, which the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are asking for. The Pentagon does not see any sense in this due to the too high cost of the equipment and the difficulties in maintaining it.
Earlier, the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine complained about the military equipment supplied by Western countries, which does not work in winter conditions. As the journalists found out, as a rule, Ukraine receives old equipment and weapons, so the West frees up its own warehouses to replenish the arsenal with modern equipment.
