APC took to social media to announce its collaboration with Revival, the first shoe recycling platform in France. They opened a collection of the brand’s old sneakers, which will be sent for recycling and used as a surface for the bike path.
This is a technology developed by Revival. A new generation shock-resistant coating is obtained from rubber, more elastic and durable.
In France, 125,000 pairs of shoes are thrown away every year. From one ton of recycled shoes, 500 kilograms of rubber can be obtained, that is, 100 square meters of material for cycle lanes.
Recall that APC continues a series of collaborations with various brands. After launching collections with Lacoste and Ron Herman, the French brand partnered with Asics to launch sneakers.
