Apple TV drops the first trailer for ‘Flower Moon Killers’

A full trailer for Martin Scorsese’s western drama Killers of the Flower Moon has been released on Apple TV’s YouTube channel. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro. The video lasts 2.5 minutes.

The video immerses the viewer in a criminal and ethnic atmosphere at the same time. On one side are the Osage Indians with their traditional clothing, customs, and apparently measured life. On the other hand, people who are looking for any way to increase their fortune.

The film is set in the 1920s in the US state of Oklahoma. There is a large reservation of the Osage tribe. The main character is Ernest Burkhart, who is offered to woo Molly by his uncle, nicknamed the King, and obtain the rights to the land from his wealthy Indian family. True, for this it is necessary that Molly’s mother, her sisters and she herself die.

The film is based on the nonfiction book of the same name by David Grann. In addition to DiCaprio and De Niro, Killers of the Flower Moon starred Brendan Fraser, Jesse Plemons, country guitarists Sturgill Simpson and Jason Isbell, former lead singer of American rock band The White Stripes Jack White, among others.

The premiere of “Killers of the Flower Moon” already took place at the Cannes Film Festival, after the screening the audience gave a standing ovation for nine minutes. The film will debut in general release in the fall.
