Applicants and university students will be able to obtain a soft loan for education at a rate of 3% per year

Date: October 4, 2024 Time: 10:49:24

Applicants and students of Russian universities will be able to apply for a soft loan for their education. T-Bank announced the launch of a new product. A loan will be available to pay for higher education with state support at a rate of 3% per annum.

Students will have a grace period: during the entire period of study and another 9 months after graduation, the student will only repay the interest on the loan. In the first year – 40% of the accrued interest, in the second year – 60% and in subsequent years – 100%, respectively. College graduates will be able to pay off principal debt within 15 years of graduation or sooner than expected.

You can apply for a loan at the age of 14, but for minor applicants, written consent from parents (legal representatives) is required. However, it is not necessary to have a job and a regular income to apply for an educational loan; it is enough to confirm the fact of studying.

— We believe that higher education should be accessible to everyone. For several years, the company has been developing numerous educational projects, including scholarship programs for students. The launch of educational loans became a logical step for us to help the market develop a talent pool and train young specialists,” says Varvara Smirnova, Director of Education at T-Bank.

He noted that with the help of an educational loan, applicants and students will be able to pay for any level and form of education. The main thing is that the university has a valid license to carry out educational activities.

“For students, this is an opportunity to choose the most attractive university, which will improve their education,” notes Varvara Smirnova.
