According to him, these are spouses Evgeniy and Svetlana from Ukraine. Both are also diving experts and their company offers diving tours abroad, RIA Novosti reports.
It is noted that Svetlana is in Poland and her husband Evgeniy serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On social networks, the couple actively supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Social media also indicates that the three Ukrainians knew each other, the agency said.
The three suspects are believed to have been part of the crew of the yacht Andromeda, which investigators say was used for sabotage.
It should be recalled that the day before it became known that the German Attorney General’s Office had issued an arrest warrant against a Ukrainian suspected of involvement in the Nord Stream attacks. According to the authorities, the man lived in Poland, but in early July he left for Ukraine.
The chairman of the Federation Council’s Committee on International Affairs, Grigory Karasin, said that the issuance of an arrest warrant in Germany against a Ukrainian diver suspected of sabotage can be welcomed. However, he added, Berlin’s reaction came too late.
