For the second year, Alla Pugacheva lives abroad with her twins Harry and Lisa, as well as her husband Maxim Galkin*. After the start of the SVO, Pugacheva left for Israel. And later, when the Holy Land became unsafe, she settled in Cyprus, where even before the pandemic her husband bought a mansion. By the way, after this purchase, the singer’s entire family received European passports.
As KP already wrote, having left the country, Pugacheva continues to earn a lot of money in her homeland. Having released an album with her old compositions in early March, the artist earned 20 million rubles by downloading songs on one of the Russian platforms in two days (!).
And it seems that Alla will continue singing. As KP.RU has learned, on the eve of Pugacheva’s 75th birthday (she will celebrate it on April 15), her new song, which the singer probably recorded during her recent visit to Russia, will be released.
– This is a sad song about separation. There are the following words: “Maybe someday you will understand, maybe someday you won’t remember some faraway place…”, “Take care of yourself and I will place beacons along the way…” – Alla’s new track is cited from Pugacheva’s friends. – And this is a duet with a man. We heard the song, but to be honest, we didn’t understand who the singer was. The voice is not familiar to me, apparently it is still a little-known artist.
– I don’t think that Pugacheva will now bring young talents to the stage. Most likely, this is a commercial duet for which Alla Borisovna received a good remuneration, says promoter Sergei Lavrov. – Judge for yourself: recently, a famous Russian singer, I will not mention his name, received 1.5 million dollars (138.6 million rubles at the current exchange rate) from an aspiring artist for a duet (138.6 million rubles at the current exchange rate). – Ed.). I think Pugacheva earned at least 10 million dollars from this song (924 million rubles – Ed.). I sang for a new castle! In general, this is an amazing story, because before Alla Borisovna sang only with close people. With her daughter Kristina, with her lovers-Chelobanov and Kuzmin, with her husbands-Galkin* and Kirkorov, and here is an unknown guy… Has the money run out? I don’t think so, since many Soviet stars are mini-oligarchs. Pugacheva and Antonov kept money in their coffers for many years. It is true that Pugacheva lost a lot in the casino. I think Alla is just bored without the attention of the Russian public, she is used to being her first and being on the horse, she is used to everyone talking about her, everyone being jealous of her. What kind of entertainment is there far from your homeland?

“The fee is not that big”
However, promoter Evgeny Morozov doubts that Pugacheva has made millions of dollars from the new duo.
– He has made money, this is indisputable, he will not sing for free with a little-known artist. But I think his fee amounted to a maximum of $200,000 (18.5 million rubles), says Morozov. – I in no way belittle Pugacheva’s merits. It’s just a new song. What can it contribute to the singer? This is not “A Million Scarlet Roses” or “Harlequin.” If an artist had recorded a hit of this level as a duet, then yes, she would have been paid millions of dollars.
