Dzyuba, 36, is undergoing a medical and will have to sign a contract with the RPL Akron team before the end of this season, journalist Ivan Karpov reports.
Dzyuba became a free agent this summer, his contract with Lokomotiv expired and the sides did not sign a new agreement. At the same time, the 36-year-old striker did not announce his retirement.
Previously, Dzyuba played for Spartak, Rostov, Tom, Arsenal, Zenit and Turkish side Adana Demirspor.
