The students and all the active youth of the city were looking forward to this event. “Boiling Point” loads you with ideas from the beginning, here you can access the most modern educational programs, participate in events, try your luck in technological startups and improve your digital skills.
AltSU has done its best to ensure that “Boiling Point” brings together scientists, students, companies and governments on its site, who will be able to share experiences and jointly work out new development models. The opening took place with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Altai Territory, “Boiling Point” is designed to play an important role in the economy of the region.
The honored guests at the opening ceremony were the Chairman of the Government of the Altai Territory Viktor Tomenko, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Digital and Technological Development, General Director of the ANO NTI Platform Dmitry Peskov, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Government , Minister of Economic Development of the Region Anatoly Nagornov.
Congratulating the university on this important event, Viktor Tomenko noted:
– This is the first “boiling point” in the Altai Territory. It is very important that it is opened according to the standards of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the platform of the National Technology Initiative. And this gives us the opportunity to be part of a larger ecosystem. Today we are faced with the fact that a series of technologies and products are leaving our market, and we must seek new solutions to continue with the development of the region and of our country as a whole. The “boiling point” is designed to solve these problems. This place will allow the development of young people from the entire region.
One of the priority areas of “Boiling Point” is the development of the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) industry. Today, comprehensive technologies in the field of BAS are in great demand among students of Altai State University – physicists, mathematicians, geographers, biologists and even archaeologists. Many guys want to design UAVs, use drones in scientific research. And the university aims to unite these young scientists and developers in teams.
On AltSU’s “Boiling Points” site, subject areas such as ag-biotechnologies and information systems will also be promoted. In addition, Altai State University, as a participant in the federal program “Priority 2030”, has just included these issues in its priority projects.
Dmitry Peskov gave a welcome speech:
– “Boiling Point” is access to a large number of resources. Through digital platforms, today you can participate in many different projects. This makes it possible to get the most out of digital educational programs, for example, “Code of the Future”, which teaches schoolchildren the basics of programming, or programs for mastering digital professions – a platform for university technological entrepreneurship. It will also support startups at the earliest stage. Now, thanks to the sanctions, the industry is becoming a real customer of the developments, learning to convey their request to young research teams. And we really hope that “Boiling Point” will become a place where new companies find their resources and support from the authorities. Altai State University has incredible potential for this.
Altai State University Rector Sergey Bocharov spoke about what the opening of such a platform means for Altai State University:
– It is very symbolic that the inauguration of our “Boiling Point” takes place in the year of the fiftieth anniversary of the university, this is an excellent gift for the university and all our students. In addition, both modern and future – ambitious and talented applicants who want to enter a strong university and constantly develop, expand their skills in progressive areas: IT, biotechnology, health care and many others, launch their own start-ups and seek investors. Today, life in AltSU is rich, in the truest sense of the word, in full swing. The concept of “Boiling Point” perfectly characterizes the readiness of the university to support young people and give an excellent start to the most sought-after professions. Well, for our graduates, many of whom work in government or run their own businesses, this is also a great opportunity to come up with new solutions, as well as ready-made artists in the person of university students and researchers.
