“Today at the Rospotrebnadzor stand we announce the start of a flu vaccination campaign for our entire beloved and beautiful country and its inhabitants,” said the head of Rospotrebnadzor.
This year, the flu vaccine has changed a component for the H1N1 flu variant. The antigens of influenza A(H3N2) and influenza viruses remain the same.
The head of Rospotrebnadzor noted that the flu vaccine has already been delivered to the regions of Russia today and the readiness for the vaccination campaign is quite high.
At EEF 2023, at the Rospotrebnadzor stand, all participants will be able to receive the national flu vaccine with current strains free of charge in a specially equipped medical room and receive a standard certificate of the performed procedure.
In addition, in accordance with the resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation, this year, as before, it is necessary to vaccinate at least 60% of the total population of the Russian Federation and 75% of the groups of risk. Risk groups include workers in the medical and educational industries, older people, citizens with weakened immune systems and chronic diseases, as well as young children.
In addition, before October 1, regions must assess the readiness of medical organizations to work during a period of increasing incidence. It is necessary to ensure the maintenance of a minimum supply of antiviral drugs, disinfectants and personal protective equipment in the chain of pharmacies and medical organizations.
