The shocking scene unfolded around 9 p.m. when a Toyota Rav 4 crashed into an Inwood sports bar, New York police said. The department said 18 people received medical attention at the scene and were sent to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, according to The New York Post.
The Rav 4 was driving on Broadway when it was struck by an Audi and crashed into an upper Manhattan establishment or ran into a bar to avoid hitting another car after the road was cut off.
According to the website, the bar has over 50 sports TVs and a separate lounge.
