Disc editions of the Atomic Heart game for Sony and Microsoft consoles will not be officially delivered in Russia. This is written by “Championship” with reference to the publisher Focus Entertainment, which is engaged in the international distribution of the project.
“In fact, Focus does not publish or distribute the game in Russia and the CIS countries. We have no information about the release of the game on discs in Russia,” a company representative commented on the situation to the Internet portal.
At the same time, large online stores and retail chains announced the collection of pre-orders in the Russian Federation. Physical copies of the shooter for consoles will apparently be delivered via parallel imports.
It is worth noting that the PC version will be available to Russians simultaneously with the worldwide release – on February 21 on the VK Play site. The console versions promise to launch in a few weeks, in March.
Atomic Heart is related to the genre of alternative history: in the game world, the Soviet Union in the 50s took the path of the highest development of science, becoming the most technologically advanced country in the world. The main character, the special agent P-3, will have to fight against the rebel robots.
