According to her, the contamination was recorded on Saturday, December 24 in the city of Galich, Ivano-Frankivsk region. The reason is the entry of petroleum products into the river on the territory of the Lviv region. Laboratory studies have shown that the permissible contamination standards are exceeded by 200 times, Onischuk specified.
In this sense, the residents of the nearby areas were informed about the incident. On the morning of December 25, employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine arrived at the site of the contamination, who are considering the possibility of installing barriers on one of the sections of the Dniester.
Onischuk did not specify how the petroleum products got into the river.
