“If we take into account the construction sector in our region, about 100 contracts for technological connection are concluded here per year. Most often these are residential buildings. It should be noted that recently the average capacity per contract has increased significantly. According to our estimates, by about 30%,” said Alexey Gvozdev, director of technological connections of the energy company. “And we understand the reason: now those who connect not individual point objects, but entire residential areas come to us. Of course, this pleases us, because the initial understanding of the volume of infrastructure of the entire site allows us to determine several years in advance the future needs of facilities to supply them with energy and, in turn, create engineering infrastructure as planned.”
The head of the relevant department stressed that in order to connect the facility to the power grid in a timely manner, a certain amount of planning and organisational work is required. The volume of activities can be simply colossal, including the reconstruction of power facilities, which is a rather expensive and time-consuming process. Therefore, it is necessary to contact the network organisation in advance in order to synchronise the construction time of the facility itself and the network infrastructure.
As the central company of the Novosibirsk region’s power grid, Rosseti Novosibirsk cooperates with many large developers of the city and the region, including such well-known Novosibirsk companies as the Rastsvetay Group of Companies, the Soyuz Group of Companies, SMSS, the Housing Development Center, Siberian Agency and Development, and others. At the same time, energy engineers offer the possibility of connecting not only residential buildings to the infrastructure, but also large industrial and social facilities. These include a dairy producer in the Maslyaninsky district, metallurgical enterprises, a waste processing center, a glass factory, and an eco-industrial park in the village of Verkh-Tula. There are also many social facilities: an infectious diseases hospital under construction in the village of Sadovy, a children’s rehabilitation center in Berdsk, a large number of schools, clinics, first-aid posts in the region, kindergartens, and swimming pools.
The key to successful cooperation and strong partnerships is the company’s constant work to develop customer service. Energy workers updated their personal account, introduced a chatbot and payment services. This year, the company was connected to the unified portal of power grid services and the unified portal “Government Services”, which made it possible to submit applications without additional identification of the applicant and attachment of certain documents. For a number of companies, in particular for developers, a set of additional services has been developed: a preliminary assessment of the creation of engineering infrastructure on the site even before the start of work, the provision of transformer substations for rent during the construction phase, and others. Rosseti Novosibirsk tries to listen to its client and adapt to it.
